Art Car Owner Decorates Car Using Amazing GOOP

Amazing GOOP users develop very creative projects, including art cars. If you’ve never heard the term art car, odds are you’ve probably seen one. Decked out with all kinds of materials and styles, art cars are the ultimate form of personal expression.

Halle Halle from Canada designed and created three art cars using Amazing GOOP. The strong, waterproof bond of Amazing GOOP makes it an excellent adhesive for applications on art cars. Halle recently finished her third art car, a pickup truck she purchased in October 2011, after waiting for the snow to melt and temperatures to rise in Canada.

Following an idea from her second art car, Halle decided to cover her truck in rhinestones and skulls on the outside. She started with a skull built from pearls and rhinestones on the hood of the truck. Red, pink and purple flames surround the skull on thehood and sides of the car. Halle placed each pearl and rhinestone one-by-one. So, how long did it take her to finish the car?

“Art cars are never finished,” Halle explained. “I am sure it will continue to evolve every year.”

Artcar owners live throughout North America and there is a surprising amount of art car creators in Texas and Seattle.
